Wondering where you can train HYROX? The following are waiting for you in selected Well Fitness clubs HYROX special areas and dedicated classes taught by certified trainers.
HYROX at Well Fitness is non-standard classroom formatwhich combines functional, strength and endurance training in one intense challenge. It's for people who want to test their limits in a unique formula and train in specially prepared Hyrox zones.
It's a standardised fitness race consisting of a 1km run repeated 8 times, punctuated by 8 different training stations (including rowing, bag lunges and sled pushing). At Well Fitness we replicate this format so you can build your starting form.
Registration for an official competition costs in the order of a few hundred złots, but the preparatory training at Well Fitness is free of charge for pass holders. It's the best way to test yourself in this discipline at no extra cost.
HYROX is challenging, but the beauty of it is that there is no time limit. In our classes we match the load to your ability (scaling), so you can start even if you are just building fitness.
HYROX is less technical - you won't find complicated weightlifting or gymnastics on bars. It is based on natural movements and in 50% consists of running, making it more accessible to amateur endurance athletes.
During the workout we work on the „HYROX eight”: SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges and Wall Balls.
