Frequently asked questions

The recommended water intake is approximately 2-2.5 litres per day for an adult. This amount may increase depending on ambient temperature, physical activity and diet.

Yes! Hydration before training helps maintain a normal body temperature and prevents dehydration. Drink a glass of water 30-60 minutes before exercising.

Definitely. Drink small amounts regularly - a few sips every 10-20 minutes to replenish lost fluids and maintain your performance.

  • Water is sufficient for lighter or shorter training.

  • Isotonic drinks are recommended for prolonged or intense exercise - they also replenish electrolytes and sugars.

Already 2% fluid loss can reduce your performance by up to 10%, affect concentration and increase the risk of injury.

Adequate fluid intake after exercise helps replenish lost electrolytes, supports muscle recovery and improves wellbeing.
